The Thistle Family is the royal family of the Little Kingdom.
King Thistle[]
King Thistle is the father of Holly, Daisy and Poppy. He cares about Holly, Daisy and Poppy and wants them to watch him make a big tower by saying, “Watch Daddy make a big tower!”. He is also the ruler of the Little Kingdom and is married to Queen Thistle. He is also very busy, lazy and tired.
Queen Thistle[]
Queen Thistle is the mother of Holly, Daisy and Poppy. She sometimes leaves the Little Castle and lets King Thistle, Holly, and Holly's friend, Ben to look after Daisy and Poppy. She is also the co-ruler of the Little Kingdom and is married to King Thistle. She is also kind and polite, although she can be a bit harsh on Daisy and Poppy when they keep making noise. She is also the sister of Queen Marigold.
Daisy and Poppy[]
Daisy and Poppy are Holly Thistle’s twin sisters. They like magic and spells, even their friends from playgroup, especially Dark Magic. Mrs. Fotheringill also comes to The Little Castle to visit them and teach them. They constantly use the word "BANG!", they got it from Nanny Plum.
Holly Thistle[]
Holly is the eldest daughter of King and Queen Thistle.
Granny Thistle[]
Milicent Thistle, also known as Granny Thistle, is the paternal grandmother of Holly, Daisy and Poppy. She also sometimes becomes a spider to become a surprise character. She is possibly the former co-ruler of the Little Kingdom, she is married to Grandpapa Thistle and is the mother of King Thistle.
Grandpapa Thistle[]
Victor Thistle, also known as Grandpapa Thistle, is the paternal grandfather of Holly, Daisy and Poppy. In Journey to the Centre of the Earth, he is here to visit Daisy and Poppy. He also wears a rotating bow. He also keeps asking himself ridiculous questions and ends up making weird things and decisions. He is possibly the former co-ruler of the Little Kingdom, he is married to Granny Thistle and is the father of King Thistle.
Vlad the Powerful and Sharon the Totally Insane[]
They are the great-grandparents of Poppy, Daisy and Holly but it’s unknown if they are parents of Granny Thistle or Grandpapa Thistle. They were first mentioned in Daisy and Poppy Go Bananas. Their wands were given to the twins as a present.
Neville the Naughty[]
He is the great-grandfather of Poppy, Daisy and Holly but it’s unknown if he is father of Granny Thistle or Grandpapa Thistle. He was first mentioned in Daisy and Poppy Go Bananas. His ring was given to Holly as a present.
The Marigold Family[]
The Marigold Family, or simply The Marigolds, are a family related to The Thistle Family, through Queen Marigold and Queen Thistle. Queen Thistle is Queen Marigolds younger sister, The Marigolds own greenflies called Lucinda, Gucci and Timmy.
